Ambassadors - Northern Ireland
We have had a busy month in Northern Ireland and have completed all our Information Seminars. We have been to all four corners of Northern Ireland and have had a wonderful response from organisations and individuals, from the public and private sectors and from organisations large and small! There are great stories out there and we are on track for an increased number of entries in 2010. Some are planning to enter more than one story in 2010 and others are planning to use the framework to prepare for an entry in 2011. We are delighted with the feedback we have had from participants and look forward to seeing inspiring stories right across Northern Ireland.
You have been through the process and know how challenging it can be to tell a story, particularly within the strict word limit! If you know someone who is thinking of entering, please encourage and support them.
St Mary's Grammar School, Magherafelt, in recognition of the challenge, but more importantly, the benefits of entering, recently hosted a seminar specifically for schools. It was very successful and participants were able to make use of St Mary's experience to answer sector specific questions.
