Judging News
Hello and welcome to the start of another National Training Awards Year.
Before looking at our plans for the year ahead I thought it would be helpful to give you an update on where we are at with the judging process for 2010 as the entries are now in the process of being judged.
In the East Midlands 59 entries were received with 44 getting through the initial assessment and moderation phase and having met those requirements have been passed through to the East Midlands Judging Panel for the next stages of judging.

From the 44 entries currently being judged the categories are:
19 from Employer Organisations, 6 from Providers of Education and Training, 9 from Partnership and Collaboration and 10 from Individuals.
Overall National Training Awards entries are up on last year with 796 entries a 6% increase year on year.

Planning for the Year Ahead
Our NTA Ambassador Network is recognised as an exemplar in promoting good practise and training in our Region.
Ambassadors like yourself are critical for the success of National Training Awards maintaining their coveted position as the premier accolade for training and development in the UK.

Our aim in the East Midlands for 2011 are to increase 2011 entries within the region by a minimum of 15% to 68 from the 2010 figure of 59.

As an Ambassador your continued help and support can help us achieve this aim through:

  • Helping us host an NTA Seminar by providing a venue
  • Putting us in touch with membership bodies or networks that would be useful to work alongside.
  • Uploading the NTA Ambassador logo with a link to our website on your email and website
  • Flagging regional or national events where we could have a National Training Awards presence with an opportunity to give a short presentation and/or have an information stand to distribute materials and answer questions
  • Letting your networks know about the National Training Awards and encouraging them to enter; signposting them to www.nationaltrainingawards.com
  • Contacting your local press to tell them about the best training stories from the region or sector. We can provide you with case studies

We also would like to develop a stronger relationship with you as an NTA Ambassador so please exchange any information where we can support your organisations and networks with any cross promotions on forthcoming events or sharing of best practise.
