Ambassadors - South West
Calling all Ambassadors - please remember that if you can bring in 2 entrants each, the numbers will massively increase for next year which is our goal. This month I have two new Ambassadors to introduce to you, they are Lisa Vanstone and Derek Phillips of the Exeter Chamber of Commerce who have agreed to partner us in promoting NTA to local businesses. I am also hoping to recruit the Black Development Agency in Bristol to represent their local BME community - if any of you know of other BME organisations in the region please contact me as we are keen to involve them in what we do.
Last but by no means least: The Ambassador network is having a meeting on Tuesday 19th January from 10am to 12pm at City and Guilds, Blackbrook Park, Taunton and the agenda will cover the 2010 recruitment campaign, the role of an ambassador, what winning means and employee engagement. Please book your place by contacting me asap. Thanks!'

Thank you and Happy New Year!
Honiton company Nu-Heat has turned a potential business threat into a revenue-boosting opportunity - by training heating engineers to install the renewable technologies that it sells.
The company sells underfloor heating, heat pumps and solar collectors, examples of the green technologies it expects to be key in enabling the UK to comply with its Kyoto target of reducing carbon emissions by 20% by 2010 and 60% by 2050, over and above its commitment to achieve a 12.5% reduction by 2012.
