  • The National Training Awards (NTA) identify and celebrate organisations and businesses that have achieved really outstanding business and personal success through investment in training. The Awards support the Government's commitment to lifelong learning.
  • The Awards are delivered by the Skills Fundoing Agency, part of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) in England, the Welsh Assembly Government, the Department for Employment and Learning Northern Ireland, Scottish Government and Skills Development Scotland.
  • The National Training Awards include the following categories:Macro Employer (5,000+), Large Employer (250-4,999), Medium Employer (50-249), Small Employer (49 and under).
  • The National Training Awards support the international skills competition WorldSkills, which comes to London in 2011 and the training delivered by organisations working on the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
